On the slopes of Lang Biang Mountain, in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, are the sustainable coffee plantations of the ethnic K’Ho, one the indigenous tribes of Lâm Đồng province.
Lacàph Filter Blend takes the finest hand-harvested Arabica beans from their farms, and transforms them into coffee full of subtle complexities. Balancing notes of candied lemon peel dipped in smooth dark chocolate, this brew is fresh like a summer morning and sweet like your day ahead.
As the year ends and harvest season arrives, the hills come alive with families of K’Ho as they individually select the ripest red cherries that will produce a superior cup of coffee. Sharing the same values as Lacàph, their coffee is environmentally grown and the profits are returned to the community.
Using traditional methods introduced by the French, the freshly harvested beans are wet-washed and laid out to dry naturally in the sun’s warm rays. They are then packaged and transported to the Lacàph roastery in Sai Gon, before being blended with beans from two of our other partner farms.
It’s here our roasting team enhances the smooth, dark chocolaty notes, and vibrant citrus overtones, filling them with depth and vigor to produce a blend perfect for any filtered coffee maker, such as Hario pour-over, AeroPress, or cold brew.
