Arabica beans from a pioneering Arabica farm in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, honey processed and then blended with Robusta to create a multi-layered coffee with strong, bold flavors. Lacàph Espresso Blend brews a round-bodied coffee that perfectly combines mild acidity and sweetness.
On the pine tree-covered slopes of Vietnam’s Central Highlands are the lush plantations that produce some of the finest coffee in all the country. It’s here we source the beans that make our signature Lacàph Espresso Blend.
By enhancing the nuanced flavors of Arabica with just a sprinkling of Robusta, our signature espresso blend captures the beans’ complex layers of taste and aroma, delightfully balancing hints of cranberry pecan pie with a creamy-sweet snap of intense dark chocolate.
Farmer Ngọc’s family has been growing coffee in Lâm Đồng province since French colonials introduced coffee beans to the Central Highland region. Drawing on generations of tradition and experience, Ngọc is a pioneer in the region’s cultivation of Arabica, and his beans are preferred by Lacàph for our Signature Espresso Blend.
When the wet season’s rains come to an end, his beans are hand-harvested from the family’s plantation before being honey washed, sun-dried, and packaged. They then continue their journey to the Lacàph roastery in Sai Gon, where our team blends them to respond perfectly to this intense and flavourful way of brewing.
The finished brew is a strong, smooth, full-bodied cup of coffee, delightfully balancing hints of crisp acidity with a well-rounded lingering sweetness. The perfect pep-in-your-step Italian style espresso.
